More DUI Checkpoints this weekend in CoMO

Could this be intended to coincide with the Missouri Beer Festival on April 7th?

DUI Crackdown Continues

The crackdown on drunk and drugged driving continues in Boone County.

The Sheriff’s Department is stepping up efforts to find impaired drivers this week. That could include a saturation patrol, a DUI checkpoint or both. The effort will happen sometime between today and Sunday in the late evening through early morning hours.

Overtime and some other costs of the effort are funded by the state Transportation Department’s Division of Highway Safety.
